Dear Companion,

We are delighted to invite you to join in the activities that are being arranged for the companions of the attendees at the 41st CBOT that will be held from October 31 to November 2, 2009 in the City of Rio de Janeiro.

In order to welcome women accompanying the attendees, the Espaço Mulher Carioca area is being set up at the Windsor Barra Hotel. Facing the Barra da Tijuca beach, this privileged location offers breathtaking views framed by the mountains.

At this Congress, every effort will be made to organize a program that keeps pace with the high standards of its predecessors. The Espaço Mulher Carioca will thus be a pleasant place, bubbling over with novelties and packed with plenty of useful information and entertainment, ensuring lifetime memories of your stay in this Marvelous City.

Here is a sneak preview of what is being planned, as an encouragement to share some pleasant times with us through this program: brunch at the Ama de Leite restaurant, SBOT Art project, get-together lunch, outings, lectures and a show by a Brazilian performer, all packed with surprises, lucky draws, gifts and plenty of fun – the real carioca way of living, typical of the people of Rio!
